'The Curio Maker's Coffin' is a follow on from my 2016 experimental album 'Automaton'. Once again modular synthesizers are the primary source for creating the atmospheres and sound design, while piano, vintage synths and solo brass instruments take the leads.

This is an ambient and melancholic album that was composed back in 2018. It seems to be a fitting time to release it.

honestly this album takes quite a bit of time and many listening rounds to actually "get into". No doubt it is technically excellent, with more advanced composition elements than earlier records, however it isn't that easily accessible either. Perhaps this is actually a strength as each time you will listen to there will be more details to discover. Martin R
